Asalamu Alaikum!
Our names are Awais Ameen and Zafar Asadullah, and we are the founders of Barakah Bites.
Barakah Bites was born during our school's very first Entrepreneur Fair in 2026. As we brainstormed different business ideas, we wanted to create something that would not only be meaningful but would also benefit the Muslim community. We asked ourselves an important question: How can we inspire young Muslims to connect with the beautiful traditions of Islam in a fun and practical way?
One day, the idea came to us: "Let's create a Sunnah food cookbook for young Muslims." We immediately fell in love with the concept because it combined two things we are passionate about our faith and the joy of sharing food with others.
From that moment on, we dedicated ourselves to turning this idea into reality. Over the following months, we spent countless hours researching the benefits of Sunnah foods, testing and perfecting recipes, designing each page, and carefully crafting a book that would be both educational and enjoyable for families and young readers alike.
Our mission is simple: to help Muslims, especially the younger generation, learn about and appreciate the blessed foods mentioned in Islamic tradition while creating meaningful moments with family and friends through cooking and sharing meals.
Today, we are proud to present this cookbook to you. We hope that every recipe, story, and lesson within these pages brings barakah (blessings) into your home and inspires a deeper connection to the beautiful Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Thank you for supporting Barakah Bites and joining us on this journey.
